Bidvane is subscription software (SaaS) that helps businesses find and match UK public-sector tenders, by YatedLabs. We solve a problem familiar to anyone who bids for public work: opportunities are scattered across services and portals, published in different formats, and close quickly — so it's easy to miss the very contract that fits you.

What we do

We scan official sources every day — including Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, across central government, councils and the wider public sector — and bring the opportunities together in one place. For each business we show only the contracts that fit its profile, with supporting analysis of the eligibility criteria, dates and bonds.

And beyond discovery, Bidvane helps you manage each bid through to award, and lets a team work together on one shared board.

How it works

The technology behind it: artificial intelligence (AI)

What lets us process hundreds of tenders a day is an AI engine built on large language models (LLMs) — the same family of technology behind the AI tools you know. In short: we have a "digital assistant" that reads thousands of pages of tender documents for you, understands them, and hands you only what matters.

What's an LLM? A large language model is an AI engine trained on vast amounts of text that has learned to "understand" human language — to read, summarise and extract information. Think of it as a tender expert who has read millions of documents, available around the clock and never tired.

Here's how we put it to work for you:

• Reading and understanding (NLP): the LLM reads the tender pack and extracts the essentials — scope, eligibility criteria, bonds and dates — instead of you wading through dozens of pages.
• Semantic analysis: the system understands the meaning of the requirements, not just keyword matches.
• Personalisation: the matching engine compares every tender to your business profile and computes a fit score — so the noise is filtered out and only the relevant remains.
• Cloud infrastructure: it all runs in the cloud and processes hundreds of tenders a day, with nothing to install.

Transparency: AI is a powerful aid, not a substitute for judgement. The automated analysis is designed to save time and point you in the right direction — before you bid, always verify the details against the official tender documents and the buyer's published notice.
