Register once, bid many times: the Central Digital Platform and the new Find a Tender
Alongside the Procurement Act 2023, the UK launched an enhanced Find a Tender service built on a new Central Digital Platform on 24 February 2025. For suppliers it changes the admin of bidding in a genuinely useful way.
Tell us once
You register and store your core business details once, then reuse them across multiple bids and share them with contracting authorities — instead of re-entering the same company information for every tender. You can update your core information in one place and keep it current.
Free and searchable
Find a Tender is free to use for everyone. Public procurement opportunities are visible and searchable at no cost, and you can set up alerts for tenders of interest — sign-in, registration, noticing and supplier information all sit on one integrated platform.
What it means in practice
Less repetitive data entry, a single source of truth for your company details, and easier visibility of the pipeline. The trade-off is that your profile and accreditations need to be accurate and complete — buyers increasingly pull this information directly.
How Bidvane fits in
Find a Tender tells you a contract exists. Bidvane reads the documents behind it, checks the requirements against your profile, and tells you whether it's worth your time — so the platform and the assistant complement each other.
